Check the front jack points on your 964, 993! Due to the exposed location of the front jack points they have often been shifted (or even torn off) such that Liftbars will not fit. Pull a tape measure from the rear of the forward hole to the rear of the aft hole. The factory distance is 49" (The front jack points have a L/R Porsche part number and can be replaced or repaired by a body shop.)

USA 78-86.0, ROW 78-85 (early jack points are round, late are rectangular)

Check the front jack points on your early 928! The front post hole is often filled with dirt or excessive rubber underbody coating. Clean and cut coating out and around hole if necessary
